Celebrate the start of spring with a hands-on experience that blends gardening and great spirits at Old Monroe’s new cocktail lounge. In this interactive workshop, a member of the St. Louis Herb Society will guide guests through planting and caring for a small cocktail herb garden designed specifically for crafting fresh drinks throughout the summer. You’ll learn which herbs work best in cocktails, how to grow and maintain them, and simple ways to incorporate fresh herbs into your home bartending. Each attendee will create and take home their own small potted garden featuring three herbs. All herbs will be sourced from Stuckmeyer’s, a local garden center known for their high-quality plants. Herb selections will be available upon arrival, allowing you to choose the flavors that inspire your future cocktails. In addition to planting, guests will also enjoy a guided tasting of Old Monroe’s wonderfully crafted grain-to-glass spirits, learning how fresh herbs and thoughtful ingredients can elevate the cocktail experience. The event will take place at Old Monroe’s new cocktail lounge, with a portion of the experience held outdoors to make the most of the spring weather. This event will be partially held outdoors. In the event of severe weather, the reschedule date will be Sunday, April 19th.
