Bourbon Women will be joining our friends at Nelson’s Green Brier Distillery and the Tennessee Whiskey Trail to celebrate Women in Whiskey with our 3rd Annual Women of Tennessee Whiskey Celebration that you don't want to miss! Makers, Shakers & Storytellers is a celebratory happy hour highlighting the women shaping Tennessee whiskey. Guests will enjoy a welcome cocktail, heavy hors d’oeuvres, and access to the distillery bar for additional purchases in a relaxed, engaging setting. We're excited to bring back this amazing event! The evening’s moderated panel will feature women representing diverse roles across the Tennessee whiskey industry, sharing their professional journeys, insights, and perspectives on leadership within a traditionally male-dominated field. The discussion will be led by Christy Pruitt Haynes, known as The Whiskey & Cigar Chick and one of your Tennessee Ambassador for Bourbon Women. About the Tennessee Whiskey Trail: The Tennessee Whiskey Trail is a collaborative effort put together by over thirty Tennessee distillers with the ultimate goal being to promote whiskey tourism in Tennessee. About Nelson Green Brier Distillery: In 2006, when Andy and Charlie Nelson drove to a small town in Tennessee to see a butcher, what they found was their destiny. In passing, the two mentioned stories they’d heard about their family’s whiskey business. The butcher, located on Distillery Road, pointed them to the local historian, who proudly showed them two perfectly preserved bottles of Nelson’s Green Brier Tennessee Whiskey produced by their great-great-great grandfather.
